A BEAUTIFUL REVOLUTION Part 2 es un seguimiento oportuno e inspirador del anterior álbum de Common, A BEAUTIFUL REVOLUTION Pt. 1, que se lanzó en octubre de 2020 a través de Loma Vista Recordings. La Pt. 1 del álbum fue escrita en 2020 durante el apogeo de la pandemia cuando las protestas por la justicia racial y social, una elección impugnada y el colapso económico polarizaban al país. Common se ayuda esta vez de colaboradores especiales como Black Thought o Brittany Howard y se apoya en una banda que incluye entre sus miembros a Robert Glasper (teclados), Karriem Riggins (batería), Burniss Travis (bajo), Isaiah Sharkey (guitarra) y PJ (voz).
