ERIC CLAPTON publica THE COMPLETE REPRISE STUDIO ALBUMS – VOLUME 1 : La colección abarca 15 años con versiones remasterizadas de los primeros seis álbumes de estudio en solitario de Clapton con Reprise, e incluye un LP adicional de rarezas. Incluyendo un remix inédito de “Pilgrim”.
Contiene versiones recién remasterizadas de seis álbumes de estudio impresos en vinilo de 180 gramos: Money and Cigarettes (1983) en un solo LP, y Behind the Sun (1985), August (1986), Journeyman (1989), From the Cradle (1994) y Pilgrim (1998) como dobles Lp. Behind The Sun y August se lanzaron originalmente como LP individuales; ambos son ahora álbumes dobles de 3 caras para evitar caras largas de LP y maximizar la calidad del audio.
El LP final de la colección, Rarities (1983-1998) reúne ocho grabaciones raras de esta época, incluidas versiones en vivo de "White Room" y "Crossroads" que aparecieron en la cara B del sencillo de 1987 "Behind The Masc" Otro lado B, “Theme From A Movie That Never Happened” (Orchestral), apareció en 1998 en el sencillo ganador del Grammy®, “My Father’s Eyes”. Una versión de "Born Under A Bad Sign" de Albert King (un descarte del álbum ganador del Grammy® From The Cradle).
