La serie se estrena con JONI MITCHELL ARCHIVES VOL. 1: THE EARLY YEARS (1963-1967), que presenta casi seis horas de grabaciones inéditas entre demos caseras, conciertos y actuaciones en la radio, cronológicamente ordenadas, para componer un rico retrato del rápido crecimiento de Mitchell como intérprete y compositora durante el período previo a su álbum de debut.
