El lanzamiento del proyecto 'The Later Years' en 2019 brindó la oportunidad de tener una nueva visión general del álbum 'A Momentary Lapse Of Reason', originalmente lanzado en 1987. Volviendo a algunas de las tomas de teclado originales de Richard Wright y regrabando nuevas pistas de batería con Nick Mason, los productores David Gilmour y Bob Ezrin han restaurado un mejor equilibrio creativo entre los tres miembros de Pink Floyd.
