Para celebrar el 25º aniversario del multimillonario álbum de debut en solitario de Robbie Williams, "Life Thru A Lens" (publicado originalmente en septiembre de 1997 en el Reino Unido), UMC / Island Records presenta una nueva edición de lujo ampliada en 4 CD.

Reúne el álbum original, que fue líder de las listas de éxitos, con temas extra y caras B de los cinco singles extraídos del mismo, junto con temas asociados al single de debut de Robbie (no del álbum) 'Freedom' (nº 2 en el Reino Unido, agosto de 1996). El tercer disco contiene grabaciones de maquetas inéditas, junto con grabaciones de ensayos y raras remezclas.

El disco 4 contiene una primera edición en formato de audio del concierto completo grabado en el Forum del norte de Londres el 3 de junio de 1998, publicado ese noviembre como "Live In Your Living Room" en cinta VHS y VCD, pero nunca reeditado.

Las críticas originales del álbum lo describieron como "inteligente, agudo y con personalidad" (NME), "realmente fantástico" (Time Out) y "estruendosos stompers, épicas temblorosas y rugidos a todo volumen" (Smash Hits).
