El álbum en directo “YOSHIMI BATTLES THE PINK ROBOTS” de la banda estadounidense de rock THE FLAMING LIPS se lanza en formato 2 LP vinilo en color rosa. Este álbum fue un gran éxito en el Reino Unido, vendiendo más de 300.000 unidades en su camino hacia la certificación de Platino. El éxito se debió a cuatro sencillos de éxito, entre ellos la canción que da título al álbum y la canción más popular de Lip, "Do You Realize". La banda realizó frecuentes giras por el Reino Unido durante el ciclo del álbum, tocando en lugares más grandes que en giras anteriores, y fueron invitados frecuentes en varios programas de radio.
