The Human League - The Virgin Years (5 Lp-vinilo) Color Box

Formados en Sheffield en 1977, The Human League es una de las bandas inglesas de synth-pop más conocidas. El grupo, que en un principio era un grupo de electrónica experimental, fichó por Virgin Records en 1979 y alcanzó un gran éxito comercial con su tercer álbum, Dare, en 1981. El álbum contenía cuatro singles de éxito, incluido el número uno en el Reino Unido y Estados Unidos "Don't You Want Me".

Bajo la dirección de Oakey, Human League se convirtió en una banda de New Pop de gran éxito comercial, con una formación que incluía a las vocalistas femeninas Joanne Catherall y Susan Ann Sulley.

Desde 1978, Human League ha publicado nueve álbumes de estudio, dos álbumes de remezclas, un álbum en directo, seis EP, 30 sencillos y varios álbumes recopilatorios. Han tenido cinco álbumes y 15 singles en el Top 20 y han vendido más de 20 millones de discos en todo el mundo en 2010.
