Reedición 40 aniversario del disco de debut de The Pogues ""Red roses for me"" (1984). ""Red roses for me"" sigue siendo alabado como el debut rompedor de un atípico grupo de ""outcasts"" de Kings Cross en una época convulsa de dominio ""tori"" con Margaret Thatcher. 

El grupo de Shane MacGowan irrumpió en la escena londinense con una arrebatadora mezcla de música celta irlandesa y rabiosa actitud punk y unas letras brillantes que hablaban de la muerte, la bebida, el amor y Londres. Contiene clásicos como ""Streams of whiskey"" o ""Boys form the County Hell"" que descubrieron el enorme talento compositivo de MacGowan

El álbum obtuvo unas críticas excelentes en la influyente prensa musical británica de los 80 (NME, Melody Maker, Sounds).

La reedición 40 aniversario de ""Red roses for me"" contiene el álbum original y un segundo disco con material extra; seis caras B y doce canciones grabadas en directo en 1984 para diferentes programas de la BBC.
