En 1970 y tras un período de enfermedad y su recuperación, el trovador y compositor Cat Stevens resurgió con un nuevo contrato discográfico con Island Records y un renacimiento espiritual y artístico. "Mona Bone Jakon", su primer álbum para el sello Island, mostró un cambio de dirección marcadamente diferente para Cat, desvelando un notable conjunto de nuevas composiciones que incluían clásicos como "Trouble", "Maybe You're Right" y el éxitoso single "Lady D'Arbanville".

Para conmemorar el 50º aniversario del álbum llega esta caja de superdeluxe de'"Mona Bone Jakon"'. Con un sonido tan fresco como el día en que se grabó, el álbum original está representado aquí por un nuevo remaster del 2020 de Geoff Pesche en Abbey Road, supervisado por el productor original Paul Samwell-Smith, así como por un nuevo Mix 2020 de David Hefti en CD y LP. El set también incluye un tercer CD exclusivo de demos inéditas y un cuarto con 18 temas en vivo de 1970/71. Esta caja se completa con un EP de 12 " de una grabación poco común "Live At Plumpton Jazz & Blues Festival" de agosto de 1970, y con un BluRay con el video promocional original de 'Lady D'Arbanville', más ocho interpretaciones televisivas en vivo y el audio HD de la nueva mezcla 2020 de Mona Bone Jakon. También se incluye un libro de tapa dura bellamente ilustrado de 98 páginas con extensas notas. Por último, también hay, dos fotos de prensa de Island, una réplica de flyer del Plumpton Jaxx and Blues de 1970, un sticker de la gira de Cat Stevens y una tarjeta de felicitación de "cubo de basura" y una impresión de arte pop.
